Working of Portable Sand Blasting Machine
The operator must press the "deadman handle" to open the air intake valve and seal the air outlet valve in order to start the portable sand blasting machine. This will allow you to begin blasting. If the operator wants to cease blasting at any time, he just releases his grip on the handle, which closes the air inlet valve and opens the exhaust valve, depressurizing the portable sand blaster machine.
If the operator loses his grasp on the "deadman handle" due to an incident, the blasting machine will automatically stop, preventing injuries. The compressed air supply is the most critical part of any blasting operation. The results will be obtained in direct proportion to the volume and pressure passing through the sand blasting nozzle. To obtain the best results, use pressures of 6-7 bars / 90-105 psi for blasting of steel and 3-4 bars / 45-60 psi for blasting masonry structures. The volume of air is also of the utmost importance and is directly related to the size of sand blasting nozzle used.
